This feature will address certain legal and GDPR-related issues concerning the registration of user IDs in Continia Document Capture, in connection with document log entries.
Feature details
According to Danish legislation, digital systems for bookkeeping and accounting must register the initials – or any similar ID – of each user who posts documents using such systems. This rule also applies to Document Capture, which will continue to do so in the future. However, in order to comply with the laws and regulations of other countries, including GDPR requirements, the way such registered user IDs are displayed in document log entries will change with the introduction of this feature. This means that going forward, user IDs will still be registered in Document Capture, but they won't be immediately visible in the log entries.
