Supported Electronic Document Formats

Your options for importing electronic documents into Continia Document Capture depend on what types of electronic documents and files you're importing. You can import files either by sending them to an email address monitored by Document Capture or by connecting to the Continia Delivery Network (CDN).

The table below displays a list of supported formats for each country. You'll notice that the format PEPPOL BIS 3 BILLING appears multiple times, which is because it's the standard format of the PEPPOL framework.

  1. Continia currently doesn't offer customers in Australia and New Zealand to connect directly to the PEPPOL eDelivery Network, but plans to do so in the future. To learn more, see Importing Electronic Documents in Australia and Importing Electronic Documents in New Zealand. If you're using Document Capture outside of Australia and New Zealand, you can still receive electronic documents through the PEPPOL eDelivery Network from Australian and New Zealand partners.
  2. It's currently not possible to receive documents in the OIOUBL format via the Continia Delivery Network. Instead, they must be delivered via email/file.
  3. Continia currently doesn't offer customers in the Netherlands to connect directly to the PEPPOL eDelivery Network, but plans to do so in the future. To learn more, see Importing Electronic Documents in the Netherlands. If you're using Document Capture outside of the Netherlands, you can still receive electronic documents through the PEPPOL eDelivery Network from partners in the Netherlands.
