Internal Continia apps

When you install a Continia solution in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, a number of mandatory apps are automatically installed along with it. These apps serve purposes that are essential either for the inner workings of each individual Continia solution or for the communication between solutions.

The apps work out of the box and require no setup or configuration at all. Each of them is described in more detail below.

Shared apps

Currently, the following mandatory apps are shared across all Continia solutions:

Continia Business FoundationProvides shared internal business logic used across all Continia solutions, such as information about Continia users. Each solution communicates with this app to retrieve user‑related data.
Continia Connector AppEnables internal communication between different Continia solutions installed in the same Business Central environment. The app provides the interconnectivity needed for the solutions to exchange data and work together seamlessly.
Continia CoreHandles activation and consumption registration and provides essential cross-solution capabilities, including shared frameworks for telemetry, web communication, and other technical services used across multiple Continia solutions.
Continia System ApplicationIncludes technical modules that enable you to work with HTTP, XML files, JSON, Azure Blob Storage, cryptography, notifications, and other system‑level operations inside Business Central.
