Enabling the Direct Communication Module

Before you can set up your bank accounts to use direct communication, you must enable the Direct Communication module in Continia Solution Management.

Prerequisites

  • Make sure you have Payment Management Administrator credentials
  • Your company must be registered as a production company. You cannot use direct communication in a test company, sandbox, or demo environment.
  • If you are using the on-premises version of Business Central, ask your Payment Management partner to add the license granule "6.016.860 - Continia Payment Management Direct Communication" to your license file. For more information, see Managing Licenses.

To enable Direct Communication

  1. In Business Central, select the Search icon, enter Continia Solution Management, and then select the related link.

  2. In the list of Continia solutions, select Payment Management.

  3. In the action bar, select Manage > Manage Modules.

  4. Follow the instructions of the assisted setup guide to activate the module.

    Note

    When you enable new modules in Payment Management, you’ll be charged for these modules on your next invoice.
