This feature ensures that documents are delivered even when recipients aren’t registered in the Continia Delivery Network. By automatically switching to email when needed, it reduces manual follow‑up and gives you a more reliable and efficient document sending process.

Feature details

When enabled, the Fallback to Email option in the output profile checks if the recipient of a document is registered in the Continia Delivery Network before the document is sent. If the recipient isn't found in the network, the document is automatically sent by email instead of failing with an error.

The feature now also works with the Continia eDocuments flow that was introduced to Continia Document Output in version 28 (2026 R1).
