Software lifecycle and scope of support
Continia provides ongoing support and servicing for all Continia Banking releases for at least 18 months after each release date. This includes security updates, bug fixes, new features, partner support, and access to online resources such as Continia Docs.
Note
Online resources are based on the latest version of Continia Banking, so older functionality may not be covered.
Release schedule
New major versions of Continia Banking are released twice a year, on April 1 and October 1, aligning with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central’s online release schedule. On-premises versions are released within two weeks of each Business Central online release. Preview versions are available one to two weeks before major releases for Business Central online sandbox environments.
Supported and compatible versions
Starting with Continia Banking 2025 R2 (27.00), the latest version of Continia Banking is only compatible with the latest version of Business Central. However, service packs are released for the three latest versions of Continia Banking.

If an issue is likely to be caused by Continia Banking code, Continia helps with debugging and determining whether the issue is caused by a bug in Continia Banking. If this is considered unlikely, the partner must prove that the issue is caused by Continia Banking – and not by standard NAV/Business Central functionality, other add-ons, extensions, or customizations.
When a bug in Continia Banking causes a critical issue that blocks essential business processes and has no known workaround, Continia corrects the issue as quickly as possible. Non-critical bugs are corrected in an upcoming service pack.

Service packs are released regularly to ensure stability and functionality. Individual patches or bug fixes are not provided separately, you must install the relevant service pack. For more information, refer to the Related information section.

For unsupported versions of Continia Banking, Continia provides support covering the following components and scenarios:

What Continia doesn't support
Continia doesn't support issues relating to Business Central code for unsupported versions of Continia Banking. This means that for these versions, Continia does not help debug any issues in Business Central or develop hotfixes for errors in the code. If an error is identified in an unsupported version of Continia Banking, customers must either upgrade to a supported version or correct the issue themselves. If the error is still present in a supported version of Continia Banking, it's only corrected in the supported version.
For all versions of Business Central and Continia Banking
Continia doesn't provide support for:
- Standard Business Central errors
- Issues likely to be caused by infrastructure, including network configuration, firewalls, and proxy servers
- Estimation of time required to implement or upgrade Continia Banking
- Help and assistance in customizing Continia Banking – just as for standard Business Central, partners are expected to know the solution and/or have the skills to investigate how it works when customizations are to be made
For unsupported versions of Continia Banking
In addition to the above, Continia doesn't support any of the following:
Errors in the Continia Banking Business Central code, including debugging assistance
Performance issues
Issues with functionality that doesn't work as expected
