Sending Electronic Documents in New Zealand
As a customer in New Zealand, you can send electronic documents as files attached to emails. To promote the general adoption of PEPPOL, the Commonwealth will mandate e-invoicing for all agencies by July 1, 2022, with over 80% of invoices being able to be received electronically by July 1, 2021. The A-NZ format is being widely adopted by both businesses and public authorities in Australia. A-NZ is based on the PEPPOL BIS standard.
