This feature prevents payment file rejections by banks due to unsupported characters in creditor or debtor information. It ensures compliance with formats like ISO 20022 and SEPA, reducing manual corrections and streamlining the payment process.
Feature details
Continia Banking validates all creditor and debtor information against the Extended SEPA Character Set (Unicode subset) during payment export. If a character is outside this set, validation fails, blocking the export until resolved.
With character mapping, you can define replacement values for unsupported characters, ensuring smooth payment file processing.
