Onboarding through Yapily
To integrate with UK banks, Continia Banking uses Yapily, a secure open banking API platform that enables both payment initiation and retrieval of enriched financial data. Continia Banking connects directly to Yapily, allowing you to download account statements and initiate payments from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Important
To use open banking via Yapily, you may need to adjust permission roles or create a custom role for your users. For details, consult your bank’s documentation or contact them directly. Continia Banking covers the cost of using Yapily, but your bank may charge fees for open banking transactions. Contact your bank for details.
Depending on the bank, Yapily may support the following payment types:
- Faster Payment Single – A single-payment file that requires approval for each file.
- Faster Payment Bulk – A multi‑payment file that requires one approval for the entire batch.
By using Yapily Connect, each payment requires authentication. When you authenticate your first payment, you’re informed that you are connecting to Yapily Connect. By proceeding, you agree to the Yapily terms and conditions. When connecting your UK bank through Yapily, you must grant Yapily the required permissions. Each bank handles third‑party access differently. The table below provides guidance and links to bank-specific instructions.
If your bank is not listed, contact your bank for guidance on granting permissions.

| HSBC | Log in to your online banking, go to Permissions > Additional banking services > Third‑party provider authorisation, and enable Enquire, Consent, and Revoke. |
