TextDescription
Form of communicationYou want to set up direct communication between Continia Payment Management and Handelsbanken Nettbedrift Pluss, via Tietoevry.
Create Online Banking Business AgreementYou must subscribe to Handelsbanken's Nettbedrift Pluss solution. You can read more about how to register here or contact your bank adviser to hear how to register, prices etc.
Do you have the necessary permits in your online bank? You must be an administrator at Handelsbanken's Nettbedrift Pluss solution in order to create the integration, order files, and retrieve certificates.

Pay attention to who you give access to Payment Management. Anyone with permission to send payments can potentially misuse your funds in the bank. Read more about setting up rights here.
Create file transfer agreementHandelsbanken in Norway uses the digital service Tietoevry to establish the bank integration from Payment Management to Handelsbanken's Nettbedrift Pluss solution. In addition to your subscription to the Nettbedrift Pluss solution, you must also sign Handelsbanken's file transfer agreement.

Fill in the file transfer agreement (download here) and send it to your Cash Management consultant at Handelsbanken. Once the bank has approved and signed the agreement, please send it to Continia (bank-integration@continia.com). Read more about the solution here.

If necessary, contact your bank adviser if you have any questions or need help.
Sign up for Nettbedrift Pluss integration with Continia SoftwareTo ensure that others cannot create a subscription on your behalf, you must also sign up for Nettbedrift Pluss integration with Continia Software.

Once you have submitted your file transfer agreement to Continia, the information will be used to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) process. This is done to ensure that ownership and rights belong to the person who wants to establish the connection in Business Central.

The information from the file transfer agreement is compared with the information that Continia registered when you signed up for Nettbank Bedrift integration with Continia. See the section Sign up for Nettbedrift Pluss integration with Continia Software, to read more about how to sign up.
Order files at the bankA prerequisite for you to be able to import status files, deposit files, and account statements into Payment Management is that your bank creates and delivers the right files for you.

Continia has already, in collaboration with Handelsbanken, specified which files Payment Management must use in order for you to import status files, payment files, and account statements into Payment Management. This is also stated in the file transfer agreement.

In the list Order files at the bank, you can see which file orders Handelsbanken automatically creates for your accounts. Contact your bank adviser if you have questions or want to change the order.
Does your Business Central use the right "Environment"?You can not use direct communication in a test company, sandbox, or in our demo environment. Only production environments are supported.
Minimum version of Continia Payment ManagementIn order for you to enable direct communication, Payment Management must be updated to the latest version or at least version 6.01.

The guide ensures that the correct bank card is created and that you get the correct bank setup imported.

Before running the wizard in the next section, you must create or edit your bank accounts and ensure that the fields shown in the table below are filled in correctly on the bank account card. You are welcome to fill in more than the mentioned fields on the bank account card, but these are a minimum. You can find our guide to creating a new bank account here, where there is also a description of all the fields on the bank account card that are Payment Management specific.

4. Sign up for Nettbedrift Pluss integration with Continia Software

To ensure that others cannot create a subscription on your behalf, you must also sign up for Nettbedrift Pluss integration with Continia Software. The registration automatically starts an internal approval procedure at Continia Software, which aims to establish the necessary setup in Payment Management and to connect your accounts via direct communication to Nettbedrift Pluss via Tietoevry on Continia Online.

The registration consists of you having to fill in your e-mail address on the TIETOEVRY bank card (created automatically if you followed the procedure above) and then request a registration ID.

Follow the instructions below to create the registration ID.

  1. Select the icon or press Ctrl-F3, enter ** Banks **, and then select the related link.
  2. This opens the Banks window.
  3. Select TIETOEVRY and select the action Edit.
  4. This opens the Bank Card window.
  5. On the Bank Card, navigate to the fast tab Webservice and enter your e-mail in the field Own e-mail.
  6. Then select the function Create Shared Certificate.
Payment Management now retrieves a registration ID from Continia Online which is stored in the field Signup Link, which you will find under the fast tab Webservice. The action automatically starts the internal approval procedure at Continia Software and you do not need to take any further action.
  7. Select OK to close the Bank Card.

5. Wait for approval

Based on the information Continia has received from Handelsbanken, information sent to Continia Online during registration, and information registered on your license or subscription agreement for Payment Management, Continia's KYC Manager now does the following:

  • Continia checks that a license or subscription to Continia Payment Management has been created, and the license is active and registered with the same company name and VAT number.
  • Based on the Continia client ID associated with your license, Continia check that the same company name is found in Continia's internal table on Continia Online, and with the same VAT number. Created during registration.
  • Your company is verified in the Norwegian company register and it is verified who has a power of attorney in the company (subscriber).

6. Accept the registration

Before Continia activates your Nettbedrift Pluss integration, you will receive an email from Continia, asking you to confirm the authenticity of the ownership and accept the activation. You may be asked for additional documentation.

If the e-mail address that was provided when you made the registration for Continia does not match with the person who is entitled power of attorney (and allowed to subscribe), according to the Norwegian company register, the person who is power of attorney must accept the integration, by sending an email to bank-integration@continia.com.

Important

When Continia Software receives your consent, we activate your Nettbedrift Pluss integration as soon as possible - usually within 2-8 working hours. You can not use the Nettbedrift Pluss integration until you have received an e-mail confirmation from Continia.

Once the integration is approved, you will receive a final email confirmation from Continia with the relevant information needed to complete the final part of the setup, described in the next section. The e-mail is also a confirmation that direct communication via Tietoevry is activated for your accounts.

If Continia cannot approve your registration, you will also receive an email from Continia's KYC Manager.

7. Enter Nettbedrift Pluss-specific fields on the bank card

Once you have received the email from Continia, please complete the setup by following the instructions below:

  1. Select the icon or press Ctrl-F3, enter Banks, and then select the related link.
