Upgrade to Continia Payment Management version 3.01

Note

If you need to upgrade from an older version of Payment Management older than 2.75, follow the upgrade instructions Upgrade to Payment Management version 2.75 before completing this guide. You do not need to install Payment Management version 2.75, but you must import and run the upgrade file before following the steps below.

As there are differences in how different versions of Dynamics NAV are upgraded, the procedure below is described based on which version you are using.

Upgrade of Dynamics NAV version 2013 and 2013R2

  1. Import the file PM3.01_TableUpgrade_NAV2013_NAV2013R2.fob.
  2. Run Codeunit 6016449 Continia Table Upgrade
  3. You are now ready to install Payment Management version 2.75, which is described in section Install the extension.

Important

Always remember to update to the latest dll files when you have finished upgrading - Start the Setup program Setup.exe, which you will find at the root of the product package - read more here.

Payment Management must be activated after upgrade

Important

If you upgraded from a version of Payment Management before 3.01, you must activate the product. This is because Continia Software now has a Licensing and Consumption Module built into Payment Management, which requires access to Continia Online. To activate the solution, you must enter a Client ID and a Client password.

When ordering a new license for Payment Management, through our License Manager, you will automatically receive an email with this information, but if you are in the process of an upgrade and have not previously received Client ID and Client password, please contact Continia's Administration.

You can either send an email to accounting@continia.com, which contains the customer's Voice ID and your (Microsoft Partner's) email address, or call + 45 8230 5000, and we will send you an email as soon as possible.

Client ID and Client password ensure that you have a secure connection to Continia Online, and that your extension can communicate with Continia Online, e.g. when you send payments and retrieve status files from the bank. Client ID and password are common to all Continia solutions.
