Install help files

Important

Continia Payment Management no longer supports the use of online help (F1) for your Dynamics NAV or Business Central on-premises. The purpose of the F1 help was to give the user specific and detailed help while using the solution, but since the solution does not allow continuous updating of content without your Microsoft Partner having to be involved, we have therefore chosen to stop supporting online help ( F1).

Instead of online help (F1), Continia has developed a brand new documentation platform on Continia Docs. Here you will find documentation on all Continia's solutions, in an online and always updated environment, and with a better and more intuitive user interface. In addition, Continia has improved the "tooltip function" with more detailed explanations of the individual functions.

So you no longer need to install online help (F1) for your Dynamics NAV or Business Central on-premises as described below, but can find the same help and much more at Continia Docs.

Note

For support regarding installing earlier versions of Payment Management that had online help support (F1), see the instructions for installing online help (F1) below.

Installation of help files before version 2.75

In order to use online help (F1) for Payment Management -specific fields, help files must be installed for your Dynamics NAV or Business Central on-premises.

Regarding newer versions of Dynamics NAV and Business Central on-premises the files only need to be installed on the server where the Internet Information Service (IIS) service is running, but for older versions you need to install both the files on the client computers to use Payment Management and on the server where the ServiceTier service is running.

Note

It is a prerequisite for the installation that you have downloaded the latest product package from Continia PartnerZone. Unpack the product package to a location of your choice and remember to check that the files are not blocked by Windows.
