Adding TARGET Days

A TARGET day schedule refers to a calendar setup used to determine banking and payment deadlines. It helps in calculating payment due dates, taking into account weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and holidays recognized in the SEPA region. By maintaining a TARGET day schedule, users can ensure accurate and efficient payment processing within Business Central.

To regularly calculate payment bank due dates when creating payment proposals, a Target calendar can be maintained in Continia Banking.

To add TARGET days:

  1. Use the Search icon, enter Target days, and select the related link.
  2. You can now start the wizard from the action bar or add TARGET days by selecting New from the action bar.
  3. Enter the country, the date, the day of the week, and a description. All dates entered in the Target calendar are automatically treated as national holidays and factored in when calculating payment deadlines. Additionally, all Saturdays and Sundays are automatically excluded by the system.
